What Patch Does Spain Wear at the 2026 World Cup?

Right sleeve: the GOLD tournament badge. Spain is a former World Cup champion.

Left sleeve: the rotating round patch, starting with Unite for Peace in the group stage, then Football Unites the World and Unite for Education through the knockouts.

Spain arrive at the 2026 World Cup as reigning European champions and one of the heaviest favorites in the field — which is exactly why their right sleeve carries the gold tournament badge. As a former World Cup winner (2010), La Roja sit in the seven-nation gold club, the same emblem worn by Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France, England and Uruguay. On the pitch it's the Lamine Yamal show, with Pedri pulling strings in midfield and Nico Williams stretching defenses on the flank.

The badge color you see depends on the kit. Spain's home shirt is the classic deep red, so the gold "26" reads cleanly against it; the away kit flips to a lighter base, which shifts the contrast pairing on that sleeve. The left sleeve is a different story entirely — that round patch rotates by stage as the tournament moves from the group phase into the knockouts, so Spain's left-arm badge changes round by round.
