What Patch Does United States Wear at the 2026 World Cup?
Right sleeve: the standard black or white tournament badge. The light or dark version depends on the kit.
Left sleeve: the rotating round patch, starting with Unite for Peace in the group stage, then Football Unites the World and Unite for Education through the knockouts.
The United States walks into 2026 as co-hosts, not qualifiers — Mauricio Pochettino's group skipped the CONCACAF gauntlet and spent the cycle stress-testing a young core led by Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, Yunus Musah and rising keeper Matt Turner. Because the USMNT has never lifted the trophy, it does not get the gold tournament badge reserved for the seven former champions. Instead it wears the standard black/white "26" emblem on the right sleeve.
Which variant shows up comes down to kit contrast. The home shirt leans white, so the badge runs dark to stand out; the bolder away kit flips that, pairing the lighter badge against the deeper base. Same emblem family — just tuned for legibility on each jersey.
The left sleeve is the one that changes by round, rotating through the stage patches as the U.S. moves deeper into the bracket.
