Brazil at the Round of 32: the Gold on white tournament badge (right sleeve) + the Football Unites the World round patch (left sleeve).
How the patches work
Every shirt at the World Cup carries two sleeve patches, one on each arm. The right sleeve wears the tournament badge; the left sleeve wears the round patch. Here is exactly which one goes where.
The tournament badge (right sleeve)
The “26” emblem comes in four versions. Former World Cup champions (Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France, Spain, England and Uruguay) wear the gold one; every other nation wears black or white. Within each family the variant flips with the kit: a light shirt takes the darker badge so it stands out, a dark shirt takes the lighter one.
The round patch (left sleeve)
The left sleeve changes at every stage of the tournament, from the group rounds through to the final, and is the same for every team playing that round.
